Description

The MKS HV70H servo is tiny and is ideal for 1m DLGs, F3K, F3L, F5D, and all small models that require excellent precision, massive torque, and adequate speed. It is just 7 mm thick and has an incredible torque of 3.1Kg cm and an excellent speed of 0.06s per 60 degrees, at 8.2V. Unlike the MKS-HV70 it has normal mounting lugs, making it best suited for fuselage mounting.

Smaller than the lamented SD100/D47, smaller and lighter than the KST X06, and more powerful than both, it is undoubtedly the best small glider servo available in 2023.

The MKS HV70H is actually a low-medium-high voltage servo as it works on 1S and 2S LiPo as and well as 4.8V - 6V NiMH batteries.

The supplied accessories include a pulley type output disk, making this servo ideal for pull-spring tail surface connections, as popularised on DLGs but also finding favour in other classes of models. Although old school modellers are reticent about trying pull-spring it is actually very quick and easy to set up, and results in a lightweight and totally slop free control surface linkage. Easily implemented using our torque springs and pull cord sets.

The MKS hallmark CNC aluminium alloy case adds rigidity and crash resistance to the servo. The gears are pre-loaded to remove all slop or backlash from the geartrain, allowing a level of precision unequalled by other manufacturers.

The extreme reliability and performance of these servos also makes them very suitable for use in film and motion picture industry special effect departments. They are also used in robotic, drone, UAV, UAS, academic research, military, and other highly demanding applications.

Lovely servo, but the drawing is incorrect

I just received my MKS HV70H servos and they are beautifully made and well packaged. Also the shipment got to me here in western Canada in about a week. Why 4 stars when the servos themselves deserve 5? It's definitely not the servos, but the fact Hyperflight has the wrong drawing on their website, by which I made my choice. The servo is now the V2 version, which is slightly different. The proper drawing is on the MKS website. You will see from the proper drawing the servo will be more challenging to mount with screws than the V1 version. I had designed a 3D printed tray specifically for these servos to go into my Hawk 2, but it looks like I may have to put these aside and go with taped and glued KST X06N's...the type of setup I was trying to avoid. Also note, the MKS website still has the V1 for the picture of the servo, like Hyperflight.
