Maverick F5K 1.5m

Until now I build the wing and the tailparts. Everything has a perfect fit. I am really happy with the result so far. The video's are really helpful.

primera vez que compro un planeador y de verdad he quedado sorprendido del buen trabajo que se realizo, todo calza espectacular, los cortes son precisos y detallados. los videos de apoyo ayudan mucho en poder armarlo de buena manera y que todo calse y quede bien. dada la distancia Chile en 10 dias llego. ya quiero terminar de armarlo he ir a volar, muchas gracias y saludos a todo el equipo

kit and shipping totally great...fuse is easy, however you will need very small receiver(7 channels) perfect if you fly Frysky radio with their amazing receiver for DLGS..the wing construction must be done carefully, some very careful sanding at all trailing edges must be done avoiding delicate ribs..on YouTube video from Bravarian RC is very helpful..finished mine just today, 357grms auw with 20 grams in the nose for proper CG, Im glad I did this build and I'm very glad its finished..no maiden yet..to be continued

Sixty years ago I was carefully, some times, cutting out ribs and formers with a razor blade on a bread board. As an aero modeller many stick and tissue rubber models, control line, free flight, radio assisted old timer and RC sport aircraft and of course gliders have been built and flown. Only bought one ARF model toward the end of the 1990’s. As a builder and flyer that’s the joy in the hobby for me. The Maverick F5K kit was delivered in a couple of week to Australia, well packed and complete undamaged. The quality of the kit is outstanding, the best ever laser cutting, the blend of materials providing strength to critical areas while being ever weight conscious is a credit to Evgen and his team at Flight Point. The plans and construction manual are equally outstanding so to the posts relative to the Maverick F5K on RC groups.com. Might buy another one don’t tell my wife.

Just starting the build and I have to say this kit rocks! Cutting is the best I’ve seen and the balsa is very light, so if you are all thumbs (like me) use care. Extremely pleased with one!
