I have had 5 of these kits in the past and why, because they are the best kits out there to date.
You can't beat it with the quality of wood in this kit!

Bought another wonderful kit off Neil in November and like the Eli I built it onboard the yacht I work on.
The kit is a super easy one to build, enjoyable, but very easy, so it’s a great starter kit for those wanting to build their first glider.
I haven’t maiden it yet, but I know flight wise it’s going to great.
I would highly recommend this kit, the kit contents was clean and tidy and all good quality wood and parts.
My only small criticism is the instructions are all in german, but I didn’t use them anyway lol.

Thanks for the bits and pieces plus advice received on this model.
I’ve completed the fuselage and motor modification and am now starting on the wing. I’ve run into problems, not with the kit but with my wife, as I’m finding assembly totally addictive and absorbing. I can’t believe the astonishing accuracy of the model’s components.
The HyperFlight 28A ESC I bought, contrary to my fears was as you said would, operates perfectly with no messing about of end points etc. The proof of the pudding will be completing and flying the model however, so far, I’m delighted, even the conundrums of fitting a motor were very satisfying.

An update since my last review have built and flown the model. I agree with Brett building was very easy. Maidened on Sunday and it was a joy, easy to fly no vices and no adjustments needed. A fantastic kit and a great introduction in to 2 m RES flying.

Excellent service from Hyperflight, as usual. The kit is an absolute joy to put together. Why can't all kits be this good?
The maiden was a complete non-event: up , up and away with no trim clicks (must be a first for me!). Model immediately promoted to top light-weather 2m favourite.

Hyperflight does amazing job distributing these models. I have ordered it one day and received it 4 days later on the West Coast of US.
Last week I have finished the kit. The quality of the design/ construction is stunning. All parts were cut exactly, everything just fits and clicks. The plan has not seen quality, it's perfect. The instructions could be better structured to help with the build flow.
Did not fly my Pures yet, social distancing closed our field. Can't wait to send the new bird into the air once they do open it again..

Just finished the glider kit and like all of the other reviews I must say the wood selection and laser cutting were excellent. The kit went together without any problems even with German instructions. I'm putting the final touches to an electric fuselage which is a copy of the glider fuselage that has a cropped front because of weight with a built up tail in the same construction method of the main wing, carbon carbon rod and balsa ribs. This has caused a slight problem due to being too lite believe it or not and I'm switching battery and electronic components around to find the correct balance. Just need a little less Corona for a test flight.

Wonderful kit delivered more quickly to the US than I thought.

This is an excellent product. It's been many years since I built a glider from a kit - either I would buy an ARF model or build my own from scratch.
The quality of the laser-cut parts are second to none and they all assemble together perfectly. SETA supply a clear full-size drawing to use either as a template or guide. All instructions are in German but these days are easily translated on-line. Apart from radio equipment, the only other parts required are adhesives and covering.

Love the service love the ship. love the RC Groups thread ! I am 77 and have not done a built-up ship in ? 30 ? years so it is going slower than I thought but fun and challenging enough. Fuselage 90% done tails 90% done .
Would have liked to translate directions to English(American).

This is a follow up from my review on 5th. August. Pures now fully flight tested and the results are spellbinding. This is my first experience with lightweight res sailplanes so nothing to compare with. Having said that I cannot imagine better. This thing would fly away every flight if not controlled by radio. Four to six minutes the norm in still air. Hit a thermal and it's a question of getting it down. Superb.
