This carbon tube is a light interference fit on our 8.5mm carbon rod, and is ideal as a wing joiner tube. The carbon rod should be bevelled at the edges, and lightly sanded to give some clearance. The ends of the tube should be reinforced by wrapping with Kevlar, carbon, or glass cloth or tows impregnated with epoxy.

Due to dimensional variability our 8.5 mm carbon rods and 8.5 mm OD carbon tubes will probably not fit in these tubes without material being removed.
Postal ChargesEngland, Wales & Scottish Lowlands75 cm items will be sent in a postal tube by Royal Mail. 150 cm items will be sent in a long postal tube by courier - this increases the postal cost.
UK Islands, NI & Scottish HighlandsAll items will be cut down to 75 cm length and sent by Royal Mail unless
this postal charge is added to the basket.
Europe and Rest of the World75 cm long items will be sent by Airmail post at low cost. Longer items will be sent by courier - this will increase the shipping charge considerably.
If even numbers of 75 cm long items are ordered we reserve the right to send half the number of 150 cm items to simplify packing.
