High quality wound carbon epoxy tapered boom. This tapered tube is ideal for wing spars and low drag tail booms or F3-RES and other classes of model gliders.

This 100 cm long lightweight carbon fiber boom tapers from 11.0 mm diameter to 5.5 mm diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.7 mm. It is made from high modulus carbon fiber wound onto a tapered form, encased in an epoxy matrix, and cured at high temperature. This high quality carbon boom (hollow tapered tube) is extremely rigid and strong, yet only weighs 28 g.

If cut down to less than the 90 cm limit for a legal UK Royal Mail postal tube this item will be sent by first class post, or Airmail post for overseas orders. If left full length it will be sent by courier, increasing the delivery cost.
